Meet the endangered African penguins in their natural habitat and learn all about their fascinating lifestyles from the comfort of a sea kayak!

Embark on a magical adventure in the company of our knowledgeable, trained and experienced conservationist guides as we seek out penguins (and other assorted marine wildlife) in this beautiful marine protected area of the world famous Table Mountain National Park.

No prior kayak experience required, our trusty Fluid sea kayaks are unsinkable, unbreakable and perfect for first-time paddlers and the professional alike!

Duration: 2 hours
When: All year round
Where: Seaforth beach – Western Cape
Weather: Good sea days with no wind.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing / Swim suut
Things to Bring: Sunblock / Sun hat / Swimming costume / Water-proof camera (GoPro, etc) / Snacks / Water bottle.

This was my third tour with Wine flies, and I can safely say again it’s one of the best tours I’ve taken. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience fun from start to finish. You could tell that a lot of time and care was taken in choosing the wine estates that we visited, each one was unique in its own way with truly excellent wine. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch with delicious local food, it was great to experience South African cuisine and of such high quality. The whole feel of the trip was relaxed and you couldn’t help but feel very lucky to be in such beautiful wine lands. The food pairings were also perfectly put together. A special mention to Lola and Alex who were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts on their estate at Mitres Edge. You could tell how much passion they have for producing fine wine and the choice of cheese paired with their wines will live in my memory for a long time to come. I have, and will continue to recommend Wine Flies to anybody I know thinking of travelling to Cape Town. Following the wine tour we took a sunset champagne cruise from the V&A waterfront, in and around Table Bay this was a special and memorable experience and afforded us a chance to get a beautiful view of Table Mountain at sunset from the water.

We were a family group of 8 doing the Fransshoek and Stellenboesh tour. Natalie our booking contact offered us a private tour for us all which was great. Our guide Julian was cheerful and good fun. He gave us a small tour of stellenboesh and Franschoek before and after the vineyard visits. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely use Wine Flies again. Thank you for a great day. Now to try and get all of our wine home on the plane! 😊

Really phenomenal experience with Wine Flies. The whole experience felt very curated (small and large wineries) and well thought out. Julian our guide was truly the highlight - he was interested, interesting, patient, knowledgeable and fun. Overall the experience was great value for money considering the professionalism, facilities, abundant wine tasting and cheese/meat/chocolate pairings & excellent lunch.

I've tried Wine Flies twice, and on both wine tours I had fantastic time. Today, I was with them at the Stellenbosch tour and Julian was great guide, insightful and fun! The driving was great too, careful and comfortable. I liked the mix of bigger and boutique estates in the program. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town!
