Stellenbosch Wine Tours

Amazing tasting and brilliant value lunch at Saveur in Simonstown followed by fabulous wine tasting at Klein Constantia and drop off back to hotel.

Our guide Pieter was the best. Knowledge amazing, good laugh, wine guru and fantastic manner. I’d recommend him to anyone who wants to have a great day out.

It was really nice to revisit 3 of the 4 estates that I have been to before and the whole day was just great fun with great company, highly recommended as ever.

This was the first time I have done the Franschoek and Stellenbosch Tour as opposed to just Stellenbosch and it was a really nice change.

It was a really nice touch from Wine Flies to also present me with a complimentary bottle of wine for my third trip with them and really appreciated. I will be back for the next England cricket tour to SA 🙂

  Terrific day out!  - What a terrific day we had, pick up 9am from our hotel at Seapoint by Yaz and then headed off to Stellenbosch area with the other 11 guests. We visited... read more 4 wineries in total Simonsig, Mitres Edge, Middelvlei and lastly Delheim. All beautiful scenery but Delheim was outstanding. Lovely cheese and chocolate pairing at Mitres Edge and a terrific Braai lunch at Middelvlei (sausage, chicken skewer, salad, potato salad, caramelised onions and the best toastie I've ever tasted! The wines were in abundance with at least 5 at each stop needless to say was feeling rather sleepy on the drive back at around 6pm. A great day with an excellent group of people from American, Australia, Israel, Canada, England and Scotland and a terrific guide Yaz, who was so knowledgeable. Don't miss out on a wonderful day. Tasty wines,... read more beautiful views, smart winemakers, and excellent pairings of cheeses and chocolates. The guide that day Corbis ( sp?) was beyond fantastic. His knowledge of the grapes grown and the wines made in the area along with a sharp sense of humor made our day very enjoyable. He had his hands full with the group of SA women on our tour and handled himself very well !! Jokes aside, the group of ladies were fun-loving and ready to imbibe!! All went well for the entire day. Strongly recommend Wine Flies wine tour in the Stellenbosch region. If you get lucky enough to have Cobis (sp?) as your guide/driver/teacher then you have hit the wine tasting jackpot.

Our driver, Julian was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, personable and just a great guy to be around. We learnt so much and did/saw so many things; mountains, private bays, wine farms, olive oil tasting, penguins, ostrich, baboons to name but a few!
