Tandem Skydiving:
Perfect for first-time jumpers, Tandem Skydiving is a quick and easy way to experience the thrill of freefall without spending time learning complex theory. Plus, it’s an incredible amount of fun!
During a Tandem Skydive, you’ll be securely strapped to a Tandem Master using a special harness connected to a state-of-the-art parachute designed to support both of you. After a brief 15-minute ground briefing, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking 20-minute plane ride to 9,000ft, offering stunning views of the West Coast, Cape Town, Robben Island, and Table Mountain.
Then, the real adventure begins! Jump out of the aircraft for an exhilarating 30-second freefall at 120mph (200kph). At 5,000ft, your Tandem Master will deploy the parachute, giving you a calm and peaceful 5-minute glide back to the ground, where you may even assist in steering the parachute.
Want to relive the moment? Your Tandem Master can capture your Tandem Skydiving experience with a wrist-mounted camera. After your jump, we’ll provide details on how to take your skydiving journey further and work towards earning your skydiving license. Tandem Skydiving is the perfect way to start!
