Both the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine tours include 4 wine estates and a cheese, biltong and chocolate pairing. You will taste at least 20 different wines throughout the day.
The private wine tour consists of 3 wine estates and lunch. The great thing about the private tour is that you can customise your estates depending on which blends you enjoy, e.g reds or MCC / sparkling wines.
For the more adventurous or for special occasions, Wine Flies also offers Helicopter Wine Tours in Cape Town and the Winelands. This is a real treat and you’ll feel like someone famous when landing at one of Cape Town’s wine estates in style, with MCC (champagne) on arrival.
This Cape Town Wine Tour also features traditional South African food, just like we prepare it at home. South Africa is known for their braai’s (similar to a barbeque) but featuring all our SA favourites like the Afrikaans Braai-Broodjie (barbeque bread), salads, boerewors and sosaties.
Our wine tour also features meeting a winemaker! We take you to a wine estate where we do a cheese pairing in the winemaker’s private home. Now that’s an experience you don’t want to miss! Our wine tour also features your own private tour guide who will teach you about our wine regions, as well as a cellar tour to see how wine is produced.
