Please note, our helicopter tours of the greater Cape Town and the winelands always include a lunch or platter and wine tastings at each stop where applicable.
Our helicopter routes include regions such as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Constantia. Included in your private helicopter wine tour is an experienced wine tour guide, a chance to meet the winemakers, a cellar tour, all wine pairings, a light lunch and stunning scenery.
Route 1 – Constantia Helicopter Tour
Ready to embark on a scenic helicopter experience? Starting off at your hotel, our pilot will whisk you away to the V&A Waterfront, where you can experience the spectacular views of the world-renowned Cape Peninsula. Before heading to your first stop, you will be met by your guide at the boutique estate of High Constantia for your first wine tasting. Our guide then transports you to one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa, Groot Constantia. Here, you will get to enjoy their famous wine and chocolate pairing, as well as your picnic lunch on the estate taking in the stunning views of the vineyard.

Route 2 – Durbanville and Stellenbosch
Your helicopter tour will start as soon as your guide picks you up at your hotel and escorts you to the launch pad in the Waterfront. Your pilot will then fly you across the bay to your first stop in Durbanville at De Grendel wine estate, where you will enjoy your first wine tasting. After your wine tasting, your pilot will fly you across the winelands to Stellenbosch, landing at the family owned estate of Middelvlei. Once arrived, you’ll get to visit the cellar for a unique barrel tasting before sitting down for a traditional South African Boere Braai lunch.

Route 3 – Stellenbosch and Franschhoek
Your wine tour will kick off at the V&A Waterfront and head towards Stellenbosch. Arriving at your first estate, Middelvlei, you’ll be able to visit the cellar for a barrel tasting before sitting down to their famous Boere Tapas paired with their selected wines. After you’ve soaked up the views of the estate, the pilot will then fly you to the legendary town of Franschhoek for your second stop, Rickety Bridge, where you will enjoy a wine tasting before settling down to a beautifully prepared lunch enjoying the breathtaking view of the entire Franschhoek Valley.
